GABRIEL RUSPINI DESIGN

Gabriel Ruspini Design is a design studio based in Venice, California founded by me, Gabriel Ruspini.  Central to my standards is a considerate anima of interchange and positivity. I reach an extensive appreciation of each project and its local context to offer innovative vision and exceptionally examined spaces that are designed to foster a feeling of prospect in day-to-day existence.

Remarkable projects surface from accessible participation between the design and construction trades.  I feel that a design responsiveness makes for a better built environment, and that applied understanding of construction-led economical certainties and building material qualities motivates further imagination in my process of designing.

I bring the discipline from my experiences with commercial projects, to my continuing work in the residential (single and multi-family), hospitality, retail/T.I./showrooms and institutional categories.

Gabriel Ruspini, Assoc. AIA (he/him)

Design Principal

Gabriel is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Gabriel pursued an education in design, and received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley.

After graduating, Gabriel began his career in the San Francisco Bay Area, working at Schwartz/Smith/Meyer and at Peter Walker/PWP, landscape architects.  Gabriel worked for a few years at an architectural model shop before collaborating with University of California, Berkeley landscape architecture professor Walter Hood on a show at Fort Mason.  After a year living in Barcelona, Spain, studying at the UPC/ETSAB, Gabriel worked at the architecture firm of Daniel Solomon, before locating to Los Angeles, working for a architecture firm for nine years before going into business as Gabriel Ruspini Design.  Since then Gabriel has worked with Ray Byers, interior designer, Richard Manion Architecture, Peter Vincent Architects, provided project design services on a single-family dwelling with interiors by Amber Interiors and built by Mallis Workshop and has partnered with Mojdeh Memarzadeh, architect, to name a few experiences. Gabriel has over thirty years of practice in the design field.
